Sergiev Posad

During this tour you will be taken 70 km away from Moscow to Sergiev Posad - a small ancient Russian town - to visit Trinity Sergius Lavra (Monastery). You will have a guided tour throughout the territory of the monastery with visiting some of its temples, the sacristy and, of course, its main church - the Trinity Sergius Cathedral.

Vladimir - Bogoliubovo

This tour covers two ‘golden-ring’ towns – Vladimir and Bogoliubovo. Here you will found yourself in the atmosphere of Old Russia filled with historical events, ancient architectural items and etc. The town of Vladimir is considered to be the pearl of Golden Ring. You'll be plunged into the history of 12th century while seeing such monuments as the Assumption Cathedral, St. Demetrius Cathedral, Golden Gates, etc. After visiting Vladimir you will be moved to Bogoluibovo - another charming provincial town near Vladimir that is famous for its Monastery and Church of the Intercession-on-Nerl.

Suzdal - Vladimir

During this tour you will visit two towns of the so-called “Golden Ring” – Suzdal and Vladimir. First you will be taken to Suzdal – a small and quiet town that in Old Russian times was a capital of a big principality. There you will have an opportunity to enjoy its 33 churches, white stoned Kremlin and ancient wooden buildings. Tour includes visit to the Kremlin grounds among which you’ll admire the architectural masterpiece - the Cross-Vaulted Chamber. And then you will be brought to Vladimir that is also a town of big history and architectural pearls such as the Assumption Cathedral, St. Demetrius Cathedral, Golden Gates.

3-DAYS GOLDEN RING TOUR (3 days / 2 nights) Sergiev Posad - Rostov Veliky - Yaroslavl - Suzdal - Vladimir - Bogoliubovo

1st DAY: Moscow - Sergiev Posad - Rostov Veliky - Yaroslav Start time of the tour at 8 a.m. (departure from Moscow). You will be taken (by a private car/bus) from the place of your accommodation to Sergiev Posad - a small ancient Russian town located 70 km away from Moscow. In Sergiev Posad you will be shown around the territory of the Trinity Sergius Lavra (Monastery) and you will visit some of its temples, the sacristy and, of course, its main church - the Trinity Sergius Cathedral. Afterwards you will be transfered to Rostov Veliky. Upon your arrival you will have a guided tour in The Kremlin and its surrounds (that represent a beautiful arquitectural ensemble of 17th century). Transfer to Yaroslavl and check-in at the hotel Yubileinaya***
2nd DAY: Yaroslavl - Suzdal Start from the hotel at 10:00. City tour in Yaroslavl with visiting Saviour and Transfiguration Monastery and the Church of Ilya the Prophet. Transfer to Suzdal and check-in at the hotel Suzdal Inn***
3rd DAY: Suzdal - Vladimir - Bogoliubovo - Moscow Start from the hotel at 10:00. City tour in Suzdal with visiting its Kremlin ensemble and seeing its numerous churches. Transfer to Vladimir. Sightseeing in Vladimir with its Assumption Cathedral, St. Demetrius Cathedral, Golden Gates and etc. Transfer to Bogoliubovo. Guided tour in Bogoliubovo with visiting the famous Church of the Intercession-on-Nerl. Transfer back to Moscow. Arrival to Moscow at about 20:00
