Overnight train Capitals' Express - Stolichny Express

The train 001/002 is a comfortable overnight train between two capitals Moscow and Kiev. The train is a fast train with a maximum speed of 140 km/h. 

The reconstruction of the railroad between Russia and Ukraine was finished in 2005 and on 1st of August 2005 the train Stolichny Express started it's service.

Nowadays the train consists of carriages of 1st class with compartments for 2 persons, carriages of 2nd class with compartments for 4 persons and a carriage-restaurant.
