Excursion to museum "Taltsi"

We offer you to visit an open-air museum "Taltsi" on your way from Irkutsk to Listvyanka (or from Listvyanka to Irkutsk), because the museum is situated between these two places and you can easily combine a transfer and excursion. Taltsi is an open-air museum of wooden architecture which is situated on the picturesque bank of the Angara river. Architecture – ethnographic museum Taltsi is a unique collection of expositions reflecting the history and culture of the ethnic groups living in Pribaikalye.

During this tour you'll be taken to a traditional buryat village Ust-Orda in 60 km from Irkutsk. The tour consists of two parts: firstly you will visit the Local Lore museum and get acquainted with customs and mode of life of Buryats. Then you'll be invited to take part in a shaman ceremony. During the lunch you will have an opportunity to try traditional buryat meals.
